CIC Certified coder will have an expertise in abstracting information from medical records for ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding. They will also have a clear understanding of Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS) which is the fundamental for Inpatient coding and MS-DRG (Medicare Severity Diagnosis Related Groups)
